Telescopic Boom Lifts <\/b><\/a>are elevated work platforms that can extend telescopically. They zoom in and out much like an automatic antenna on a car. They are also sometimes referred to as straight booms or stick booms. This type of boom lift offers greater horizontal reach than any other type of aerial platform allowing you to work in areas with limited access points. \u00a0These booms come in a variety of heights, from 40 ft to as high as 185 ft.<\/span><\/p>\n

Articulating Boom Lifts <\/b><\/a>are elevated work platforms that can articulate like an arm due to their jointed sections. This allows users to reach difficult areas by reaching over access areas that otherwise may be blocked by obstacles. These types of platforms are sometimes also called \u201cup and over booms\u201d or \u201cknuckle booms.\u201d These machines are very versatile and perfect for tight spaces, but they may not reach as high. They start at heights of around 30 ft and can go up as high as 158 ft.<\/span><\/p>\n
